Our Story.
Nānā Kai—meaning “Looking Toward the Sea”—was created to honor the land, preserve its beauty, and craft a village that feels both timeless and alive. Founded by BlackPine Communities and Somers West, Nānā Kai began as a response to the desire for luxury homes in harmony with Hawaii’s unique environment.
From the earliest vision, our goal has been to combine regenerative design with sophisticated living. The land itself dictated the placement of homes, trails, and amenities, ensuring minimal impact and maximum engagement with the natural surroundings.
